Eileen Withey Weaver, 43, of Bluemont, VA, formerly of Curwensville, PA, passed away on March 27, 2015 at the Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. Born August 7, 1971 in Clearfield, PA, Eileen was the daughter of Richard and Zoe Long Withey of Olanta, Pennsylvania.

Eileen was a graduate of Curwensville Area High School. She obtained Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She was employed by Human Technology in McClean, VA as a Program Manager.

Eileen Withey Weaver, 43, of Bluemont, VA, formerly of Curwensville, PA, passed away on March 27, 2015 at the Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. Born August 7, 1971 in Clearfield, PA, Eileen was the daughter of Richard and Zoe Long Withey of Olanta, Pennsylvania.

Eileen was a graduate of Curwensville Area High School. She obtained Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She was employed by Human Technology in McClean, VA as a Program Manager.

On October 8, 2005, she married her soul mate Jim Weaver. They were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Emily, on September 24, 2008.

Eileen was an active member of the Riverside Presbyterian Church in Sterling, VA. Also, she was very active in her daughter Emily's school and her many activities. Eileen had a love of life that was infectious to all that were fortunate enough to be around her. This love included all four footed creatures as well. She was involved in animal rescues and a board member of the Gingersnap Girls Foundation Equine Sanctuary. Eileen will be sadly missed by so many that loved her.

Eileen is survived by her husband, James Weaver, and their daughter, Emily, both of Bluemont, VA, her parents, Richard and Zoe Withey of Olanta, PA, her brother Paul Withey and his wife Jennifer of Columbia, PA, her Uncle Robert Withey of Clearfield, PA, her sister in-law Sandy Weaver of Dallas, Texas, and her sister-in-law Lee Ann Jakubik and her husband Dennis of Brownstown, MI and their children Nicole and Sam. She was preceded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents and both her mother-in-law and father-in-law.

Services were held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at the Riverside Presbyterian Church in Sterling, VA.

Family and friends will also be received on Thursday, April 2, 2015, from 2:00 ''' 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 ''' 8:00 p.m. at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home in Clearfield, PA. A private, family internment will be at the Bloomington Cemetery in Curwensville, PA. However, the family would like to extend an invitation for friends to attend a 12:00 p.m. luncheon on Friday, April 3, 2015, at the Glen Richey Fire Hall. Questions concerning arrangements should be directed to the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home of Clearfield, PA.
