Martin R. Green, 67, of Clearfield, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born on March 5, 1950 in Clearfield, the son of the late David and Dorothy (Graham) Green. On November 3, 2007 he married Kate (Spencer) Green.

Martin served in the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the military he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Vietnamese Service Metal and Combat Action Ribbon. He had worked for Community Action. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of ten years Kate Green of Clearfield, a daughter, Ruth Snyder of Fla, a son, Adam Green of Clearfield, a step son, Joshua Phillips of Lancaster, seven sisters: Pat Rebo of Philipsburg, Helen Aughenbaugh of Apollo, Mary "Meggie" Demi of Clearfield, Crystal Warring of Pennsburg, PA, Bonnie (Jack) Snyder of Clearfield, Sondra Liddick of Hastings, Tuesday Passmore and her significant other of Boyd Winters of West Decatur and a brother, James (Bonnie) Green of AZ; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Graham.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
